Did you create IWS? wow, you are so talented! I wish there was a website like this when I was getting married. 90% of the reason I am much better at my makeup today is because the makeup artist on my wedding day totally messed up my makeup. She used so much bronzer I looked like a golden statue. Awful. All my pics had to be redone (there was no photoshop then otherwise I would have paid for that too). I still don't have many photos I like from that day. :(
But for years after that, I learned as much as I could about makeup application from hounding the MA's at the counters at Nordstrom and reading books and magazines. I didn't want to be clueless about colors and application techniques anymore because it hurt me on the day it mattered most. I had to attend alot of parties after the wedding and I wanted to be able to do my own makeup without relying blindly on someone else. The Makeup artists were helpful without forcing me to buy their products and I've learned a great deal since then.
As for a good clear drugstore mascara, go for the one made by Max Factor. This is the best clear mascara you can find at the drugstore. You can even use it to keep your eyebrows in place (although it feels a little sticky and unnatural when you do this, alot of brides do this on their wedding day)

CM ~ Thanks! IWS is my baby. I've always wanted to learn more about makeup but I guess I just don't have the drive. I usually just pick up a few tips when I visit my sister. That sucks about your wedding pictures! Thanks for the mascara rec - I'm going to get that today.
