I miss bhangra competitions. I really miss them. There is no better high that I have experienced than that of performing in front of all those people. The fear right before you walk on stage and get in place. The breathlessness while dancing. The relief when it's over and done with and no one fell on the ground or messed up. Sigh. That makes me miss college. How easily you meet new people - how carefree life is. Can I go back to college? Grad school doesn't count - you're still a grown-up so it's not the same.

I love new york city ... I love people watching. I was in the meatpacking district last night .. how this place is cool, I have no idea. It smells like crap! But good food and good company made it just fine.

I booked a restaurant for my hubby's 30th bday. After researching 50 places, creating a complicated Excel spreadsheet, making dozens of phone calls, reading hundreds of reviews, etc., we decided on "our" restaurant. The one we've been to a dozen times. Geez, that could have saved me a lot of research time. Anyways, it has a great private room in the back and good food so it will work well. I also think the women will enjoy the cute Italian waiters. But that's not the reason I love it .. of course not =)

Ok off to update the evite ... my very first evite! How exciting. No, really, I've been dying to send out an evite. I never get to do it. Just get to think up clever Yes or No responses to other peoples' evites. Well it's my turn now! I like seeing how many times people have viewed the evite and not responded =) Those people crack me up.
